To Shoot or Not to Shoot

Transformation of Spain

Transformation of Spain - Excellent book. My father was an International Brigader but he never talked to the family about his experiences and I've never really had more than an outline grasp of the political situation. We also never went to Spain while Franco was alive and it was only recently that I spent my first few days in Spain, in Madrid. This book came just after that and begins to give me a feeling for how special Spain is among the European countries.
