Katherine - Anya Seton What a time to live through! Chaucer, plague, peasant's revolt. I love the way this book has fixed the history in my mind. It has made vivid to me the way people lived, how they were different and how they were the same. It has become one of the points I return to, and other historical events happened before or happened after - and often connected by a spiderweb of people, or places. There are so many connections that it must have been a fulcrum - an important time that leads even to the present.
